Li Ming's Garden Pavilion Construction Story
Li Ming's Garden Pavilion Construction Story
After many years of hustle and bustle in the city, Li Ming finally owned a small courtyard of his own in the suburbs. The courtyard wasn't large, but it carried his longing for a tranquil life. Whenever he had free time, he loved to tend to flowers and plants in the courtyard, enjoying that unique sense of contentment. However, as summer approached, the scorching sun and sudden showers made his activities in the courtyard a bit inconvenient. So, Li Ming decided to build a pavilion in the courtyard to add comfort and elegance to his garden life.
Li Ming was a person with high pursuit of life quality. Regarding the design of the pavilion, he had his own ideas. He hoped that the pavilion could not only blend in with the style of the small courtyard but also have practical functions. After some thinking and research, he decided to adopt a simple and modern design style, with white as the main color and simple lines, making the pavilion a beautiful scenery in the garden.
After finalizing the design plan, Li Ming began to prepare the construction materials. He visited all the building materials markets nearby and carefully selected every piece of wood and every screw. He was extremely picky about the choice of wood, requiring it to be not only hard and corrosion-resistant but also with beautiful textures. After many comparisons, he finally chose high-quality preservative-treated wood. This kind of wood could not only withstand the erosion of wind and rain but also develop a more rustic texture over time.
The process of building the pavilion was not smooth sailing. At first, due to lack of experience, Li Ming encountered problems when building the basic framework. The splicing of the wood was not tight enough, which affected the stability of the framework. He repeatedly consulted materials and sought advice from experienced craftsmen. After several attempts and adjustments, he finally found a suitable splicing method to ensure the stability of the framework.
When installing the roof, new problems arose. Due to the large area of the roof, a slight carelessness during the installation process would result in an uneven roof. Li Ming and the construction team carefully measured and accurately positioned, taking every step with great care. After several days of hard work, the roof was finally installed, flat and beautiful.
As the construction progressed, the pavilion gradually took shape. Li Ming placed several potted plants around the pavilion, including green palms, charming roses, and some succulents. These plants added a touch of vitality and liveliness to the pavilion. He also placed a few comfortable lounge chairs and a small tea table, imagining that in the future, he could enjoy tea, read, and spend leisurely time here.
After more than a month of hard work, the pavilion was finally completed. When the first rays of sunlight shone on the pavilion, Li Ming stood in it, feeling a great sense of achievement. This pavilion was not only the result of his hands-on construction but also a symbol of his pursuit and longing for a better life.
Now, whenever friends come to visit, Li Ming will invite them to the pavilion to share the joys and sorrows of life together. The pavilion has become an ideal place for them to gather and communicate. With the company of the pavilion, Li Ming's life in the small courtyard has become more colorful, and he has found inner peace and satisfaction in this piece of land belonging to him.
