The types of modern shutters

1) Modern shutters exterior shutters:

Fixed exterior shutters have three basic forms: horizontal shading, vertical shading, and baffle shading.

AExterior shutters horizontal shading. Able to block sunlight from above the window. Suitable for south-facing exterior windows.

BExterior shutters vertical shading. Able to block sunlight from both sides of the window.

C.  Exterior shutters baffle shading. It can block the sunlight that hits the window flat. Suitable for windows facing east and west. In practice, it can be selected alone or in combination. The common ones are integrated sunshade, fixed louver sunshade, lattice sunshade, etc.

The movable  exterior shutters can freely control the working conditions of the sunshade system according to the user's environmental changes and personal preferences. Form: sunshade roller blinds, movable louvers sunshade, awnings, sunshade gauze, etc.

2) Modern shutters internal window shutters:

At present, the choice of internal window shutters is mainly based on the personal preferences of the residents to choose fabrics and colors, and rarely takes into account the requirements of energy saving. Compared with exterior shutters, internal window shutters is more flexible, it is easier for users to adjust the appropriate opening method according to seasonal weather changes, and internal window shutters are not easy to be damaged by the outside world. The forms of internal window shutters include: venetian blinds, blinds, pull-up curtains, roller blinds, etc. Materials are varied, such as cloth, plastic, metal, bamboo, wood and so on. There are also deficiencies in the internal window shutters. When the inner sunshade is used, the solar radiation passes through the glass, causing the internal window shutters itself to heat up. This part of heat has actually entered the room, and a large part will increase the temperature of the room through convection and radiation.

3)  Modern shutters glass self-shading

Glass self-shading uses the sun-shading performance of the window glass itself to block part of the sunlight from entering the room. The shading performance of the straight body of the glass has a great impact on energy saving, and the glass with a small shading coefficient should be selected. Glasses with good sun-shading properties are commonly used in heat-absorbing glass, heat-reflecting glass, and low-emissivity glass. These types of glass have a low shading coefficient and have a good shading effect. It is worth noting that the first two types of glass have varying degrees of impact on lighting, while low-e glass has good light transmission performance. In addition, when using glass for sunshade, the windows must be closed, which will have a certain impact on the natural ventilation of the room, and prevent part of the heat trapped in the room from dissipating. Therefore, although the sun-shading performance of the glass itself is worthy of recognition, it must be combined with louver sun-shading and other measures to learn from each other.

4)  Modern shutters green shade

Greening and shading can be achieved by planting trees at a certain distance outside the window, or by planting climbing plants outside the window or on the balcony to achieve shading on the wall, and there are also roof gardens and other forms. Deciduous trees can provide shade in summer, and evergreens can provide shade year-round. Plants also reduce reflections from the ground by evaporating the surrounding air. Evergreen shrubs and lawns are useful for reducing ground reflections and building reflections.
